The NC Concealed Handgun Permit Class is required as part of the requirements to receive a NC Concealed Handgun Permit.

The cost is $100.00 for CR&PC non members. CR&PC Club members and conditional members fee is $75.00 (25% discount).

The class is usually held on a Sunday at the CR-PC Indoor Range. The hours will be from 8AM - 8PM. The map and directions to the CR-PC Indoor Range can be found at the club's website.

Please reply by email and supply your address and telephone numbers with your cell phone confirming if you plan to attend.

You will need to bring the handgun you plan to carry and a holster if you have one. We will recommend different types of holsters at the class. You should bring at least 150 rounds of Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) or sometimes referred to as factory ammunition in the caliber for your handgun. You will also need ear and eye protection. Please let me know if you do not have these items.

The class starts promptly at 8:00AM and plan to be there until 8:00PM. We will have breaks and a lunch time. It is recommended you bring a bag lunch, snacks and drinks to last for the day

SPECIAL NOTE: If you are a Mecklenburg County resident, please call or go online with the Meck County Sheriff's office and make your appointment to apply for your Concealed Permit as the first opening is likely 2-3 months out. Ask for the application appointment date to occur after the completion of this course.

This will save you time as opposed to making your appointment after the class...It is also wise to check in with the sheriff in the other NC counties as well if you live outside of Mecklenburg County but the wait is not usually as long.

Reservation required, contact: Glen Moody at moodg16@yahoo.com for information & reservations.
