The Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club encourages the fast growing interest of women shooters.
In 2013 the CRPC Women’s Programs was established to offer a variety of programs specifically tailored to women’s interests, attract women to the sport of shooting, and more fully integrate women into all facets of the club’s operations.
Led by the club’s first ever Director of Women’s Programs, Diane DeBruhl, CRPC hosts programs designed for women shooters of all skill levels, from those who have never pulled a trigger to those who are championship shooters.
Today, Women’s Programs provides a variety of opportunities in the disciplines of pistol, rifle and shotgun shooting for CRPC women members and non-members.
NRA Women on Target® Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Clinics are held several times a year at the CRPC outdoor ranges. Designed for new shooters this program can benefit women shooters of all levels.
Women’s Other Events Programs organizes Meet and Greet Socials to welcome and help orient new women members to the club’s programs; Workshops such as gun cleaning and choosing a firearm; encourages women to participate in Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Matches; and conducts other events specially designed for women shooters.
